Ms. Jayson graduated, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor of Science degree in political science and a minor in English from the University of Scranton, Pennsylvania, in 2003. During college, she was awarded an academic Dean’s Scholarship and the 2003 Charles Volpe Political Science Scholarship. She earned membership in the National Association of Collegiate Scholars, Alpha Delta Lamda Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, Sigma Tau Delta Honor Society and Pi Gamma Mu Honor Society. She worked in pre-trial services for the U.S. Probation Office and completed an internship with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Ms. Jayson received a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University School of Law, Pennsylvania, in 2007. She participated in the Reimels Moot Court Competition and served as a judicial extern to the Honorable A. Richard Caputo, U.S. District Judge for the Middle District of Pennsylvania.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Jayson served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable William R. Carpenter in the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas, Pennsylvania. She also practiced law for a mid-sized insurance defense firm in Philadelphia.

Ms. Jayson is admitted to the Supreme Courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Ms. Jayson is a member of the American, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia Bar Associations, the National Association of Women Lawyers and the Animal Legal Defense Fund. She offers pro bono services for Philadelphia Volunteers for the Indigent (VIP) program and she also volunteers with Dress for Success and Career Wardrobe, both in Philadelphia.
